Production of site-specific and strategic Flood Risk Assessments, Feasibility Studies and Pre-feasibility studies, Flood warning and Flood forecasting studies. HydroGreen Consulting Ltd is an expert in hydrology, flood estimation, flood risk management policy and practice, Natural Flood Management and sustainable drainage. We can also offer a ‘one-stop shop’ service to provide flood risk solutions for a range of clients, working closely with our excellent partnering SMEs to deliver, for example, Flood Risk Assessments for potential developments or compelling business cases for potential flood alleviation schemes.
We produce Flood Risk Assessments of the highest quality for commercial and residential developments of any scale which address all the requirements of NPPF and NPPG in England and TAN15 in Wales.
Training
HydroGreen Consulting Ltd offer formal technical training on hydrology and flood estimation using the Flood Estimation Handbook methodologies, both for new practitioners and more experienced hydrologists, to help organisations enhance their hydrological capability.
Projects
In partnership with Worcestershire County Council
HydroGreen Consulting is playing a key role in Worcestershire County Council conducting post-flood investigations, developing reports, including Section 19 reports, and helping to develop compelling business cases for flood alleviation schemes across the county.
In partnership with HydroLand Consulting Engineers
- Hydrological analysis of a proposed managed realignment as part of the Humber Strategy, undertaken in partnership with HydroLand and CH2M (now Jacobs) for the Environment Agency.
- Hydrological analyses for over 12 Flood Risk Assessments across England and Wales for a wide range of private sector clients.
- Flood Risk Mapping for Snitterfield in Warwickshire for the Environment Agency.
In partnership with the National Flood Forum
- Michael Green, the Director of HydroGreen Consulting Ltd, is the Chair for the Warwickshire Stour Catchment Partnership as part of its work in promoting Natural Flood Management and in reaching out to communities at risk of flooding and being a link between those at risk of flooding and professionals working in flood risk management.

- HydroGreen Consulting Ltd provided a witness in court for a recent land drainage case for Warwickshire County Council.

Hydrogreen Consulting Ltd is a Small to Medium-sized Enterprise dedicated to reducing flood risk through technical excellence and understanding the needs of our clients.
Our highly-qualified staff are leaders in their field with extensive experience in the both the public and private sector. Their in-depth technical expertise alongside wide-ranging experience in flood risk management has led to their involvement in helping to steer national policy and sharing lessons learned with other professionals through published papers and national conferences.

Partners
From December 2019 Hydrogreen Consulting Ltd have been seconded into Worcestershire County Council to work with and support its flood risk management team in fulfilling its Lead Local Flood Authority role, working closely with partners such as north and south.
